Kurz vor Ende der Saison noch eine Tour gebucht und es nicht bereut. Der erfahrene Skipper und Tourführer hat einen Super Job gemacht. Wir konnten viele Tiere, mit dem nötigen Abstand, beobachten. Darunter auch einige Buckelwale und Seelöwen. Es wurde viel interessantes Wissen vermittelt und die 6 Stunden sind wie im Flug vergangen. Mit dem kleinen, wendigen Boot konnte flexibel auf Wal-Sichtungen reagieren werden und Dank entsprechender Kleidung blieben wir dennoch warm und trocken. Der angeboten Lunch, im Preis enthalten, war auch sehr lecker. Also eine klare Empfehlung. Viele Erfolg für die nächsten Saison.

Absolutely amazing! Loved seeing the animals This was an amazing experience for my husband and I. The guides were so knowledgeable, kind and patient. We saw many humpbacks, sea otters, sea lions, eagles and many other birds. While I am not knowledgeable on all the birds - we learned so much about them while on this tour. I was also grateful for Tyler sharing his heritage and culture with us.

Great cultural and natural experience Tom and Tyler were experienced, informative and really nice to spend the day with.
Lots of whales and sea otter viewing but also eagles, herons, seals and a black bear.
It’s beautiful coast and islands. Tyler explained some areas of cultural and historical significance to his family and how they are working on various projects on their lands.

It’s remote but you’re on the only tour in the area so not chasing around with other people.

A great day out on the water A great day out very professionally run by Andrew and Tyler. Saw multiple whales, otters, sea lions, eagles and huge variety of seabirds. Weather wet at times but kit supplied warm and waterproof and we had a dry interval at lunchtime. Food excellent and trip highly recommended

Absolutely phenomenal experience doing the Sea Otter and Whale Watching Tour this September with Coastal Rainforest Safaris! Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly, sharing so much of their culture and experiences with us throughout the tour. We were served excellent food that was made by a local cafe and met all of my dietary restrictions with care, as I am celiac and have a slew of other allergies as well. We never felt rushed or pressured with time, and they really followed our lead around what we wanted to see and spend time with over the course of the day. I felt very safe and taken care of in their hands, and we had the chance to see the most incredible amount of wildlife as they took us to special areas around Northern Vancouver Island and the surrounding waters, islands, and protected bays. I would highly recommend this tour company to anyone wanting to get an intimate and powerful experience of the beautiful culture, nature and wildlife that BC has to offer. Amazing Day! Outstanding! I have never seen so much hard to find wildlife in my life. We saw otters, eagles, sea lions, harbor seals, Dall’s porpoises, and an entire group of humpback whales we watched for at least 45 minutes. The custom designed boat was surprisingly comfortable and the gourmet deli lunch was delicious. The First Nations guides and staff made this the most memorable wildlife tour of my life!

Porpoise, sea otters, stellar seals, humpback whales, eagles and even a great lunch! Excellent! Jamie greeted us cheerfully and helped us get started with warm pants and float jacket. We then met our captain and guide who took us to the boat and we saw all the sea life we could have hoped for and then some! A highlite was all the humpback wales! It was a memorable day and worth every penny spent for the trip. Thanks for a great day

An incredible day with great knowledgeable guides and a great lunch but the stars of the show were the wildlife. We saw numerous birds including king fishers, herons and bald eagles Sea lions in fantastic voice and numerous playful otters posing for photos. A black bear looking for food on one of the beaches and numerous humpback whales. At one point the whales were on all sides of the boat, sometimes coming to the surface 3 at a time. A must do trip and a great excuse to visit Port Hardy.

We had a great day with AJ and Tyler. Saw many humpbacks, otter, sea lions, and bald eagles. Plus AJ pursued some transient orcas through the fog and got us unforgettable views of these whales on the move. We did the 2 day package deal with Sea Wolf Adventures in Port McNeill and the CRS tour was far superior, I would have been satisfied with it alone.

A truly memorable experience! My daughter (10) and I went out on the Sea Otters and Whales tour with Coastal Rainforest Safaris as part of the Whales, Otters and Grizzly Bears package, including a day trip with Sea Wolf Adventures to see Grizzly Bears and a stay at Kwa’lilas Hotel in Port Hardy. The entire package was excellent and I would definitely recommend adding the extra day tour with Sea Wolf.

Our day out with Coastal Rainforest Safaris with Andrew and William, and Jamie who helped us prepare for our tour, was a once in a lifetime day! I cannot speak highly enough of the attentive service, the attention to detail and their respectful attitudes towards the guests and also the wildlife we were fortunate enough to see!

The wildlife here is abundant, and the opportunity to be out in this serene wilderness is truly a gift for which I will feel blessed and remember for the rest of my life. This was a lifetime dream come true!

Great day on the water We had a wonderful day on the water with Coastal Rainforest Safaris. Both Taylor our guide and Gabe the driver were exceptionally professional, safe and knowledgeable. We saw a black bear , whales, otters, sea lions and were very lucky to watch wolves during lunch.
Altogether an outstanding day and I would definitely go again when we are next in the area.

Fantastic wildlife tour in Port Hardy A wonderful experience thanks to super management and service from the guides. We saw humpbacks, sea otters, sea lions and had the great pleasure and surprise of spending lunch watching a sea wolf family on the beach.

Wir hatten gestern die Sea Otter Viewing and Whale Watching Tour gemacht und waren sehr begeistert. Die Crew war super nett und hat sehr ausführlich Hintergründe erklärt und Informationen zu den verschiedenen Tierarten gegeben. Wir haben alles gesehen, was die Tierwelt auf dem Wasser zu bieten hat. A very nice tour. Extremely friendly. We had the best whale watching trip here. The boat has padded seats, so you don't feel any hard jolts in your back. We highly recommend this tour. Keep up the good work, you are a top team!

Fabulous Experience We saw so many whales! Lots of other amazing creatures, too. The boat was very comfortable. Thomas (guide) and Gabe (driver) were respectful of the wild life and very knowledgeable about this area. The lunch provided was nutritious and delicious! Exceptional value. Highly recommend.

I dont know how to put in words how amazing this tour was. Picture if you will sitting in a boat on the ocean that is perfectly calm, eating a delicious lunch (with home baked cookies) that is packed by coastal, with whales and porpoises popping up all around the boat coming so close. This trip was a core memory for sure, can't recommend it enough. I did the 6 hour sea otter and whale tour, I actually lost track of how many whales we saw. Additionally we were able to see lots of sea otters, porpoises, sea lions, seals and bald eagles. Our tour guides for the day were AJ and Thomas and they were so wonderful! Funny and full of knowledge, made for such an incredible day. It's worth the money, just do it!

WOW, what a wonderful experience this was! I do not hestitate recommending this trip. The tour we originally booked was postponed a day due to weather conditions so we decided to book the Whale and Sea Otter trip on the vacant day. Thomas and AJ were our guides and they were so informative and knowledgeable. Thomas shared the Indigenous peoples history of the Islands with us as well which I appreciated so much. The second trip, Puffins and Seabirds was a longer trip with guides Andrew, Will and Scottie, equally as great as the previous day's guides. Not only did we see both species of Puffins, we also saw Humpback, Orca, Minke whales and many species of birds including the Black-footed Albatros. We were also lucky to be a part of the rare bird sighting of a King Eider Duck. One never knows what is going to show up! It was an amazing day. Both day trips provided us with many sightings of just about everything. We were not disappointed. The lunch was delicious and both hot and cold drinks were provided. The seats were comfortable and our safety was always a priority. Bathroom breaks were provided on the facilities on board. The company is very respectful of keeping distance from the birds and mammals.
